Our formulations are designed to suit specific requirements in terms of colour and flavouring; in short, formulations for tailor-made products.
We carry out a wide range of laboratory analyses to ensure full control of products and processes and that our products are released in accordance with our clients’ requirements.

Our in-house laboratory enables us to perform physical and chemical parameter testing, such as size, volume, grade, polar compounds, acid levels, peroxides, salt and moisture. We also work with accredited external laboratory facilities for microbiological testing and detection of chemicals such as acrylamide, mycotoxins, pesticides and heavy metals.

We are open to performing any other type of additional analysis that our clients may require, in our aim to ensure the utmost food safety of our products.

We pay extra-special attention to the loading and packing of our products, verifiable through visual evidence of every stage in an effort to ensure proper hygienic conditions and the right loading of the product when shipping. All with a view to ensuring that the clients receive their products in optimal condition.

Our sales team is advised of product departure from our premises and this information is passed on to the client.

When loading the containers we carry out temperature and moisture controls through the use of data loggers (electronic instruments that measure these parameters during their transport).

We also undergo continuous training in this area in order to optimise load and shipping costs.

All our certifications are continuously updated, so our clients benefit from top quality products that meet all necessary criteria in terms of food safety, respect for the environment and corporate governance requirements.

Our R&D department offers innovative product propositions, where flavourings are in line with market trends or specifically requested criteria. Maximum quality assurance and compliance with current regulations in force are key.

This department is the hub of knowledge where existing products are revamped and new ones are developed. For this reason, Barberá Snacks has recently invested in a new laboratory facility with the equipment and infrastructure required to develop products with flavourings and features to suit the needs of our clients.
